Ando was poor against Palace. Today he worked hard and tried to get us going in midfield, albeit his passing was off at times and he snatched at his chances. The tempo to our play dropped another level after he was replaced with Fellaini.

A poor substitution in that respect. Would have been better off getting Valencia on at right-back to give us more threat down that side.

The centre-halves were the biggest problem today, as everyone has stated.

People talking about this being a hard job.

It's a piece of £#%&!ing piss. Attacking wingers, full backs, and two midfielders who can pass and create. Easy.

Agreed. Didn't understand why buttner was also kept on. He could have been brave and switched to back 3 and subbed buttner for januzaj.

Disappointed that Fabio looks to be behind Buttner who is a very average player. Fabio has not kicked on but 2 years ago he was good enough to play in a CL final and looked very comfortable in that spell he had.

Played well against Palace. He's an attacking full back, should be starting ahead of Jones. He's not a RB but every time we start with a stop gap RB we struggle.

No wum, tbh. Wasn't in my team to start but he worked hard and he does try and get us going in midfield. We became more lethargic after he was replaced. Last substitution and instead of Welbeck or Valencia, we bring on Fellaini to completely kill the tempo in the middle.

David Moyes' reaction to #MUTV: "I thought we controlled the game but couldn’t get the telling finish."

Confirmed. It's a tough away game, so he'll revert to defensive, cowardly shit@#%&!ery. Valencia & Young out wide, Smalling/Jones at right back, Fellaini playing off the striker, long ball etc. It's going to be horrific.

Hope is that Shakhtar are having an unusually poor season in Ukraine after all their squad changes (they're losing atm) so it could be a chance for us to finally get proper win under our belts. Moyes really needs that first genuinely positive result in the league or Europe.

He'll play for a draw, though.

Europe will be Moyes only plus this season, he just isnt the kind of man to win the league over a full stretch...

We were awful at the back.
Easy to single out the same old scapegoats but Rio & the general uncertainty in defence cost us the game today.

West Brom will lose next week & Sessengon or whatever his £#%&!ing name is will never replicate that form for the remainder of his career.

Waste of £#%&!ing time even getting annoyed about it tbh
It was nailed on how the season would start.
We've been doing West Brom's team talk for them for weeks, going on about getting the City game out the way before we can finally start picking up some points. Shocking PR.

Evans has to take more responsibility. Gets a lot of faith, but for all the talent is still utterly unreliable. He's 26 in Jan; needs to step up.

Not so sure on that, thought Evans and Buttner did okay defensively.

Jones and Rio on the other hand, £#%&!ing hell. That chance West Brom had from the header in the first half summed them up, Jones let him just put in any type of ball he wanted. .

Thumbs down

Jesus

We're 13th according to the Guardian.

One more shit week - lets say a Stoke victory in one of the 2 games they play before we play again - and say a draw away v Sunderland and we could easily be 8 points behind Spurs/Arsenal already.
