Absolutely this, or from Spurs when he was out of favour after the first year or so.

Yes he's 33 but he's still a bloody good defender.

He’s not that good now at all. Makes loads of mistakes and is injury prone. Pointless signing if we made it.

what would be the point of signing him on a free? he would compete for a starting spot and would just possibly take minutes away from Alex or Bailly(assuming they are healthy)

not at this particular moment....no, why?

Bailly isn't a poor defender by any stretch....he's a bit rash in the tackle, yes, but he has all the attributes to be very good if he could just stay healthy and get a good run of games

For free he could be decent tbf

But he’d probably want ridiculous wages over a few years so for that reason it’s a no from me.
