Oh good, another step removed from the actual wallet. They might as well let Goldbridge do it.

Right because he should call it out in public and look like a miserable bastard like jose.

At the moment both clubs think it’s a great idea to make it look like it won’t. Meanwhile, ole is messed around and faces an insane fixture schedule with 3 decent forwards for 3 positions.

Bare minimum he needs to get at least sancho, grealish and a left back. Then we have a shot.

Daily Star wasn't it? Who buys that in 2020?

Their latest is that we've abandoned Sancho and Joao Felix is our new target

If they truly won't sell for anything less than 90mil up front then it isnt gunna happen. Our lot wont pay that.

We'll pay the asking price but over 3 years max.

Which would indicate they're in financial shit, because what's the benefit for anyone for us to do that? They just need to be better at accounting ffs.

Hope so, the cheeky @#%&!s. Bend over instantly when the Führer want to sign their best players but act 10 men when it's us.

Dust off the £#%&!ing Lancasters & burn him out.

i don't see this transfer happening so they need to find a couple alternate players quickly...spend the 20m on Regulion and the 25m on Thiago.

He'll probably try to get Perisic on loan or something like that to find a forward

If he's the main target, we've (allegedly) sorted personal terms, then I don't think we'll miss out for the sake of £20m.

If it was some last minute signing that we weren't 100% on, then I don't think we'd push it or compromise the type of player we want (Dybala last year?) but it seems like it's Sancho or nothing.

More like one club that made their position perfectly clear and were open about it, happy to negotiate and do a deal at a set price.

The other is a proven international laughing stock with zero negotiation skill, trying to bluff a hand of cards when the opponent can see they hold nothing.

Manchester United's approach to transfers has been a damaging fiasco for the exact amount of time Woodward has been in charge of it. These things are not coincidental.

Dortmund are stubborn because their asking price is unreasonable and they aren't budging.

As fans, it's frustrating, but we have a top price we'll pay. Just like anyone else.

Agree we've been shite with transfers, and a big part of that has been overpaying for players. Both in terms of fees and wages.

We should have walked away from more deals than we have in recent years.
