Still a part of me that thinks that £100m could be spread about a bit to greater effect..
One of the best young forwards in Europe. Fits the character Ole is looking for too imho (ditched a lucrative contract to play in a foreign country at 18 etc)

Do get the impression we're doing serious homework on potential signings under Ole; spoke at great length at the references they got for Maguire and AWB, took extra time to ensure Fernandes was the right guy (and budget, obvs), swerved Dybala, got Ighalo because he was prepared to crawl through broken glass, 15 months courting DvdB apparently.. all very promising. Need to identify targets earlier and do their due diligence quicker, but moving the right way.

Securing Sancho after the Van De Beek signing would be one helluva statement from United, tbf.

Florentino Perez when you ask him if he's worried about Premier League clubs spending power during Corona:

hopefully it happens but not at the expense that he's the only other signing of the summer

would give us a much better option off the bench whichever guy didn't start but still not enough to make it thru the season unless Daniel James can figure things out to be that 5th forward

Didn't think this would happen when it went it seemed Utd distanced themselves from it but listening to James Cooper earlier was interesting.

What a signing this lad would be.

I don't want him to stay either but doesn't seem to be interest in him. What's a realistic fee ... £20M?

I don’t think we’ll go that high.

lingard will go in the same range i think Smalling will....10-12m

just give a decent fee to help cover the DVB cost and get their wages off the books

then you can target sancho and have the money to cover his wages and transfer fee without stopping you from getting a third player in

In a world where Brighton are holding out for £40 odd million for Lewis Dunk, we'd be the biggest mugs in football accepting £10-12million for Chris Smalling.

It's not 2010 for £#%&!s sake.
