Did anyone expect anything other than a woeful free kick there? Waste of time. Should just offer them a goal kick next time we get one.

I’m drinking the unicorn Kool Aid because 25 years ago we had one of the greatest managers ever, a rare bunch of local talent and some immense, strong characters in our team.

So yeah - this lot of havetesticular fortitude to go to Turkey and get something

Thank god that’s over
Football taught by Matt Busby it is not

It gives as many points as a 8 nil win but £#%&! me that was painful to watch
The players look like they hate playing football for this team, like it’s a chore that needs to be endured

No idea where this is all going

Maybe if some of them weren’t so terrible it all might be a bit more pleasing on the eye.

Good things about today:

1) clean sheet - yay!
2) er......
3) that's it.

In particular, why do we have a certain forward who currently barely even seems to know what a football actually is

Based on regular player leaks over the last few years, they want instruction but not so much instruction that it’s tedious, but no so little instruction that they don’t know what to do.

They also want to work on things in training but not work on things in training so much that it makes them break a sweat.

They want standards set in the team rather than an arm around the shoulder but not so many standards that it upsets them .

Strictly speaking 300 million of that has yet to be paid.

So on current cost they cost 300 odd million .

shows how poor the quality of the best league in the world is, that we've had one of the worst starts to a season in living memory yet we're actually in a pretty decent position
