I'm assuming fitness issues. He seemed well liked at the club and an Ole type of player.

He'll be alright.

Even if he is inconsistent, he has the fundamentals - pure tackling - to cover whatever positional and attacking issues he still needs to develop. Plus, I see he's got the old wes brown tackle in his arsenal - a few of those will always bring the fans back onside.
