Although we might flounder a wee bit later on from the squad being a bit too light (depending on how well we strengthen it this week), and the defence is going to cost us throughout this campaign unless Tuanzebe/Bailly (or possibly Mengi!) and Henderson can come in and make an impact. I'm completely fine with that and completely fine on us holding off on signing a centre-back to give the young lads (and Eric) a go at it. |

If games this early on are decided by who has had thr most rest we should be fine against spurs who have been here there and everywhere.
Whilst i agree somewhat being completely outplayed by Palace and Brighton isnt all to do with pre season ffs. We played 1 proper game after everyone else and that was Sevilla. Some could say its good prep to have a proper game before the season starts. We also had a weeks extra prep. No excuses what so ever for not been ready for the Palace game. |

Is it acceptable for us to roll over for Spurs because of lack of prep? Just wondering before the game that's all. Does the fact Spurs have travelled 100000000 miles come into play? When will we be at 100% and therefore need to come up with a different excuse? We have been £#%&! mate stop making excuses for them / him. |
