Cole was 3rd mainly because at the time any deal signing Newcastle’s best player seemed far fetched…

Collymore was on fire 1994/95 for Forest he had all the footballing attributes to be a Man United centre forward..

Might have been *slightly* more sympathetic to his depression than John Gregory was

if you can get collymore against us 1994 at old trafford around the time we were sniffing he absolutely ran bruce and pallister a merry go round they won 2-1 think they were the first home goals we had conceded in months

Thought he was brilliant, remember being a bit gutted Newcastle got him.
