Get rid of both of them, only matter of time before Pogba plays up under a new manager with Raiola always looking for the next payday. Perhaps Messi and Ronaldo can influence who the manager is, not Paul Pogba though.

This is simply a justification for letting players pick the manager. If that’s the club you want mate, good luck.

Is correct. That fat @#%&! cares about one thing and one thing alone, and he doesn’t get it by Pogba staying. Surely everyone gets this.

It's modern day football mate. I agree with you in principle but we've gone too far over - the days of the manager running an iron fist are over. Most people want a Director of Football which itself is devolving the power of the manager.

I want a Direction of Football. From whence it comes is not the main issue.

Cast your minds back to 2013/14 and how the characters who were under the rule of Ferguson undermined his chosen successor:

- Club captain announcing he will be leaving at the end of the season. Fine - except it was announced not via United's end but by the player posing for contract photos with his new club. There were still a few months of the season to go.

- Club stalwart defender running his mouth on social media fuelling rumours of Moyes leaving. Oh and he posted dancing and fannying about clips plenty of times too. Unlike Pogba, Lingard and co this man was supposed to be a veteran pro leading by example.

- Star striker and his agent being pictured with the man rumoured (and eventual) replacement to Moyes while he was out injured.

- Same player bemoaning the tactics after a gutless performance to Olympiakos

- Kagawa eating too much food and needing his stomach pumped

- Hernandez's pathetic little digs on social media

As I said these guys were brought up under Fergie yet as a group demonstrated the same pettiness and lack of respect. Fergie (and Wenger) are the last of that breed of manager. Get used to players running the rule now because players know in a commercial world they are the assets.

Depressingly true, however most other "big" clubs seem to cope with it better than United.

Doesn’t happen at City, Liverpool or Spurs, and if they even get a sniff of it, alá Toure then it’s nipped in the bud tout suite under their manager. Serious clubs don’t let players dictate, the only one I can think of who might, Barcelona, keep a very tight lid on it and they will pay the price once Messi is gone.

It's all about winning. If you're winning matches then everything is easier. Everything else just falls away into background noise. Players will put aside any grievances they have because if the team is winning they have no basis for their strops.

remember Guardiola's swivel-eyed mental interviews in his first season when City were having problems before he spent 300m on a new defence? Remember Klopp losing the plot and having the team taking a bow infront of the KOP after a home draw against some dross?

Pochettino last week was getting it. Spurs were getting the grief in the media because they lost 3 games in a row. When the media smell blood they move in for the kill, no matter who you are.

it's always, always about winning. Remember that.

Unfortunately United at the moment are like a £#%&!ing wounded Lion that's ruled the plains for years and the hyenas know if they hang around long enough they'll dine out for £#%&!ing weeks.

Pointless debate

Not arsed whether Pogba stays or goes
It’s not about one player but about the team and the squad as a whole

Jose is into his third season and he still hasn’t established a style of play at the club
Unsurprisingly the players still look like they’re playing with strangers

Even Lampard has established a clear way of playing at Derby in a couple of months but Jose can’t in 2 years at Utd with one of the biggest budgets in football

It’s completely unacceptable and he needs to go

Were we not a serious club in 2013/14? It was only one year removed from Ferguson and with the exception of two players was Ferguson's squad. We were the defending champions.

Plus it did happen at Spurs. The difference is when Pochettino was hired he was putting old (bad) eggs like Adebayor, Lennon, Kaboul and co in the stands, which is how a player like Kane got his big break. There's a significant difference though with those three players and Pogba, Sanchez and Martial....

This, all the posturing and finger pointing can't hide this. Derby and Lampard were dedicated to playing out from the back with Richard Keogh starting moves, Keogh is a clogger. All these excuses about what he can't do until he has world class talent in every position are just that, excuses. You either want to or you don't.
