Was thinking about the injuries thing, it's a bit open to abuse isn't it? Enforced subs vs. Tactical. Can always fake an injury..

Players have always been allowed to leave the field anywhere on a sub haven't they? loads of times players have just stepped off the pitch and the sub is made..
If injured yes. I guess this means if you want to make it quick - be it the team making the change or the ref - they can send them off somewhere else.

Re the first half subs, just extend it to half time. Any subs made first half or half time don't count as your three. Minimal way of it really being abused and avoids the situation we had against PSG and Liverpool where early changes kill us. The goalkeeper one should already be in place. Even in the last minute, nobody will sub their first choice goalkeeper to waste time.

Yes re Italy. It's at least 10-12 on the bench. Makes total sense really.

Still open to abuse. Tough call between an extra CM or an extra forward? pick one, give it 15 minutes, then give the signal to pull up lame if you fancy changing it.

I can't see many managers doing that to a player after 15 minutes just to take advantage of an extra sub. But even if they do, no big deal.

Half time subs would become more common.

That pelanty on Saturday was genuinely atrocious

Give it to Lukaku if he plays, Rashford if he doesn't. Simples.

Not sure he should be taking them in the last minute when we are winning and the striker is on a hat trick...

You can't miss three times in one season & expect to keep the responsibility.

Give it to Tony, he's a cool head & doesn't do a stupid run up either.

For the record, Pogba should be the new captain, and if Tony's not about then he can be next in line.
