Last night was his best game so far. Amazingly.

The worst thing about the game was that we were so much better once Fellaini came on. Sickening.

Can't wait til these Spanish teams get revealed for being the doped up @#%&!s that they are.

Most corrupt sports system in the world currently has two teams that are year on year surpassing anything the sport has ever seen in its history. Both have sport redefining superstars and are accomplishing unprecedented levels of dominance. In the same period of history.

Never going to happen. It would tarnish the image of the entire sport, globally. Especially with them winning the world cup and euros twice.

FIFA and UEFA would never want that.

But yeah since 2006 it's pretty much been tedious watching Barcelona and Madrid win 8 european cups between them with only United, Chelsea and Bayern, stopping them doing a clean sweep for 10 years.

Everyone in the top tier of football is doping to some degree nqat.

The recovery times considering how intense the games are and that you play twice a week more often than not should raise a doubt.

According to Alan Pardew.
He has been poor through pre-season. Passive defending, a real lack of aggression in his game. The second goal last night is mainly on Valencia/Matic but Lindelof is standing 5 yards off Bale, not influencing the play at all. The first is offside but it is hardly great play by Lindelof either.

However it is not a real concern, Utd are extremely well stocked at CB and Lindelof may not have been bought as an immediate impact player. He should get a season to adapt to the league, get over any stage-fright and gradually prove himself.

we don't have time to wait. he can play a bit. and we need him badly. hope and expect that mourinho will throw him straight in against west ham.

Would expect 4-3-3 in that match, really do not have a compelling option for the LWB role. Bailly and Jones to start.

One, further, issue with Lindelof may be that he has played RCB all pre-season, where Bailly plays, if the plan was to immediately pair them I would have expected Lindelof to get some game time at LCB. Lindelof does look as if he has some ball playing potential, just a little hesitant so far.

it's not surprising.

fellaini brings a focus to the way we play and gives everyone a bit more understanding of what we are doing. it's absolutely shit and a sign of coaching failure. we need our players to understand what they are doing when we are trying to play proper football. absolutely the wrong message to take from this is that "fellaini football" is a good idea. it works... to a degree. like playing 7 defenders and hoping for a lucky break. we should be aiming a little higher.

the fact that he looks slower, weaker and less dominant in the air than smalling isn't going to help him force his way into the team unless we start playing 3 at the back regularly. ball-playing centre backs are overrated. a defender's primary role is to stop the opposition.
