say what you like about mon, he knows how to motivate a side. sunderland have got £#%&! all to play for this season but they're the same here as against city, playing like their lives depended on it.

he's a good manager imo, not for a top team but ideal for someone like sunderland, the only problem for them is when he inevitably quits in the next two years.

he had villa playing some decent enough stuff, far better than the mediocre horse shit they serve up these days, which means the verm will probably win 3-0 and declare themselves back to the top again.

Always produces compact sides, decent on the counter. With Sunderland he seems to have given them confidence on the ball too. Not sure about him when he's got money to spend.

It's been shite to watch though today. Pretty negative at home against a side only 5 places above you.

£#%&!ing hell spurs really do need to buy a decent striker who can get 25-30 goals a season. Adebayoroffside isn't going to do it, neither is defoe or saha.

harry never stops buying strikers, plays them for a while then drops them and wants to buy new ones.

As in Spurs have gone ahead of Arse, but only just so there's not too much pressure on Arse that they're forced to attack too much etc, and be caught on the break, but still need to get at least a point to go back into 3rd, kind of way...?
