Theo Walcott, cheeky bid?
I know it was just Reading, but last night was another example of how dangerous he is through the middle. Defenders know its a lost battle once he receives the ball in those positions.
Brainless? Maybe. But he is lightning quick, a composed finisher, young and English. Seems a no brainer to me given he'll be on a free transfer. |

One a free transfer it's definitely worth it if we're losing Nani. |

He's the ultimate flat track bully.
Watched him a lot against the poorer teams and he'll regularly tear them a new one. A brace here or there against the likes of Reading or Norwich or Wolves or Southampton. But against the bigger boys he looks like he's mentally fragile. Over-thinks things and doesn't seem to thrive under the pressure like big game players do e.g. Cantona, Henry, RVP, Joe Allen, Tevez et al. He doesn't look like a Utd player. He looks like he's perfect for the team he currently plays for. I'd go as far as to say there are players currently not in Utd's first team who are significantly superior to Theo. He seems like a nice lad though. |
