because it would be (in my dreams) in place of all these £#%&!y friendlies. a quick few weeks in the summer for the home nations, easy travelling for the players, then £#%&! the daft friendlies off during the season as much as poss.

Fair enough - if it was to work like that then I'd be in favour too. Very much doubt it would though, they'd still insist on squeezing in a game during the season every six weeks.

I'm confused.

If rangers fans like northern Ireland and
If celtic fans like the republic of Ireland
Then who the £#%&! supports Scotland?

a tournament with england, scotland, wales, the two irelands and one guest country for exotica would work really well imo. but yeah, you're probably right.

Only chance of it working is if it's played at various points during the season. Times of playing it en bloc at end of season have gone. Clubs want their players to rest up nowadays. Which is fair enough.

No you moron I said you were searching through my post history on a regular basis. Hard of thinking or what? and the fact that you judge me on the basis of some sections of my country says a lot. Everything is hard for you to understand.

Match and tournament was as we all suspected a waste of time. Best part was the Republic fans showing their true sectarian colours last night. Well done. Good that we've moved on - am sure you'll catch up some day.

I thought this fool was all for the rivalry between the nations anyway? he's actually put that in writing before. any £#%&!ing muppet wearing a celtic jersey to a ireland game is just as big an embarrasment to this island than some middle aged £#%&!er dressed up as a male suffragette marching through council estates and voting for years to keep a two tier society.

apparently the queen was thrilled with the result as was obama. Nick Clegg has penned in an emergency visit to the north for talks though - that's how important it is.

Get in there lads, I think most people prefer the real Ireland in those games.

Good to see it went off without a problem. Imagine it being played in the Norf
