I can't imagine any other team living with them last night, apart from the Scouse of course , we're champions of England and I'm glad there's no football for a couple of months now, I can relax for a bit

can't feel too bad about last night. they are something special, that midfield of theirs is sensational. we would have beaten anyone else last night. they are the bench mark for every other club in europe to reach.

we played football, they played better football. they closed us down and there was no cheating, diving or play acting. the ref was fair too.

to lose in a final is horrible but we lost in the right way.

If someone had told you in 1990, when Dalglish's bitter little face was enjoying the league title, that in the season when United overtook them to clinch title number 19 the achievement would be tinged with the sadness of not winning the European Cup as well....£#%&!ing hell.

It wasn't to be, but there's no disgrace in losing to a truly great side.
