This post speaks volumes. When you’re complaining about a back four, and the problem is 3 players worse than Dalot, your team has big problems.

If we get wiped here, ETH is in trouble. Two of his players, costing around £150 million between them, and he’s decided not to play them.

I don’t know if he’s one a WUM to the owners but there’s no tactical significance whatsoever playing evans ahead varane. Varane has to have a knock . If evans was left footed (still wouldn’t play him) but I could maybe understand why he may have picked him. He’s not.

There’s not a single thing evans does better than varane. Varane even has the big game experience over evans.

Regulion fair enough he’s been a bit meh since returning . Varane not a chance in hell he isn’t injured . No sane man would start both slab and evans ahead of a varane and think it’s to suit tactics.

(Watch evans grab a goal and MOTM performance now )

ETH said pre match that he picked Evans over Varane for tactical reasons

Have to think something was lost in translation there

Really hope he does a Big Ron at half time and never works again.

5 mins gone and not conceded. Feels like a win already.
