They sacked Slavisa Jokanovic last summer after getting them promotion and replaced him with Quique Sanchez Flores. At the time that seemed a odd decision but it worked out this season. I agree this is even more of a strange decision, Watford have been superb at times this season by their own standards.

On the flip side when Southampton sacked Nigel Adkins they were comfortable in mid-table and then replaced him with Mauricio Pochettino. At the time that was a strange decision but ended up working out fine.
