Even if we finish in the bottom half he should survive.

We need to give him time to sort this out properly and that’s not going to happen overnight. Obviously the board need to back him and allow him the time, which is unlikely tbf.

Wow…that’s some statement.

Not sure it needs questioning or even saying.

My guess is that the club know full well that they haven’t brought ETH in for a quick fix.

It’s a medium to long term appointment against a background of successive high profile and huge budget management and CEO failures. Even united must know that their approach has to now change. ETH is evidence of that change imv.

I doubt it will take them that long.

Under Mourinho: "he's too tough, there's too much coaching, we should be free to play"

Under Ole: "there's no coaching, no ideas, no blueprint"

Wouldn’t it be nice if we started the season looking like a team with structure. I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw us play where we looked coherent as a unit.

I still thought we looked very disjointed in that time period. We’ve always looked extremely fragile in the midfield area and there was a distinct lack of cohesion between defence and attack, to the point where some games it didn’t feel like we were playing with a midfield at all.

Stats are misleading.

Tide has totally turned on the players despite the insta fluffers saying ‘great reps’ to Rashford et al when he’s photographing himself in the gym.

Arnold acknowledged as much at the pub staged sit down.

100% on them to change.

Am feeling v encouraged - we might just have got the man.

Looking good. I'll give him at least 5 games.

This. It was good fun, but we were living so dangerously all the time.
