he was once heir to a chip oil dynasty in deepest somerset

i have to admit that they're good though

Fry for about 5 mins at 130 til nice and pale on the outside and fluffy inside

remove from fryer

crank up the oil to 190 then back in the oil til nice and golden and crunchy on the outside

double dipped

Does this double dipping make a big difference then? And are we talking oven chips or are you actually going to crinkle cut fresh potatoes?

it is a perfect way to get crispy/fluffy chips. however, i like to boil the cut potatoes first then whack them in a high heat for outside crispiness inside fluffiness.

i have a feeling this thread will go on and involve bunker at some point;

I'm having a spicy meat feast pizza (Tesco's) and some little indian snacks to go with it.Pakora's, bhaji's and the like.

i'm making a fish pie. haddock, crayfish tails and boiled eggs will be the filling in my bechemel sauce.
