Would be great if we could get some money for Bailly. Didn't it come out immediately after he'd signed a new deal that he'd look to move on if he wasn't going to be first choice?

Weird renewal, but not surprising.

Ofcourse your opportunities will be limited. You’re 4th choice for two spots and those two spots will go to two virtually undroppable players.

Swap him for Kounde or Torres.

indeed. his first team opportunities have largely been limited due to his performances in his first team opportunities. given that he is physically dominant compared to lindelof, maybe he should have a little sit down and think about why the @#%&! is getting picked ahead of him.

Exactly. If he wasn’t such a good wacky explosion of a man, he’d be first choice and we wouldn’t be buying a brand new centre half.

He’s had so many opportunities to nail down a starting spot.

He hasn’t the footballing intelligence or temperament to play at the top level, and he’s too injury prone…get him sold if we can

I think a lot will depend on Tuanzebe. If him and Bailly both leave, then we only have Lindelof as cover and that’s not really enough.

Unless you count Phil Jones. Which not even Phil Jones does.

All of this. Tuanzebe's far cheaper to keep as a backup behind the big dogs and Lindelof.

Crazy decision to leave - if Phil Jones goes - there is a top spot free in the physio room, could get the bed opposite the TV and a head bandage.

The fact that three quarters of the vote has gone Bailly's way explains a lot

The real question is despite all that how is it possible to get renewed contracts when you’re a blatant liability in staying fit for a football club
