This is why ive been saying its fairly ludicrous for the likes of cleverley ando and fellaini to be binned without at least 2 midfielders coming in...
Wrong. Does not compute.

The fact is our 3 central defenders are very poor on the ball. That's not going to change in 3 weeks. Also Fletcher is £#%&!ed.
this is their best team bar sturridge and lovren, speaks volumes about their transfer policy. Why the £#%&! blow £25m on lallana who surely wont get into the side ahead of coutinho? Unless they drop a holding mid and then get their crap defence exposed.

love how some moron united fans have hyped evans up as some cultured cb, "id be happy if he became captain" etc. Never gotten why people rate him so highly. 4 years of shit.

I'd even put Wilf on for Pea. Don't get why they suddenly look so nervous in possession. Especially after the last few games. I know they're getting pressed but if you can't be confident on the ball in a game like this, you never will be.

Michael Keane coming on as well. Presume Jones is going off.

Francis agreeing with the forum here. We've not been pressed up until this game.

We need two defenders.

He's a coward, Smalling and Jones are brainless buffoons. Suicidal having these 3 as our only CBs

He's pretty decent IMO. Can hardly be worse than what we've had so far

I'm off to bed, anyway

I take it you didn't see him against Bale then? Sterling will destroy him.

On: Keane, Blackett, Cleverley
Off: Jones, Evans, Fletcher

Dippers unchanged.

Rate Smalling and Jones, if protected by midfield theyre sound, thanks to feries experimenting theyve not been allowed to develop in one position. Play them now with no protection and their head gets dizzy.

That is the answer. We've been like that for years. No one in midfield, apart from Herrera can counter the press by being able to beat a man and open up the space.

We've somehow come out and looked worse.

Didn't think that was possible.
