If Utd use the competition as an opportunity to give some of the younger players experience of playing in European competition it could be quite interesting. That means no Park, Giggs, Berbatov, Carrick, Evra, Rio etc.

Lindegaard/De Gea
Rafael
Smalling
Jones
Fryers
Cleverley
Anderson
Pogba
Morrison
Welbeck
Macheda

Missed an opportunity with the league cup to give the youngsters a go. No point playing the senior players who will be disinterested in the Europa League.

Absolutely. We've gone from a club who wants to win every game to saying "it doesn't matter about this game/trophy", "we've got bigger fish to fry" "concentrate on the league", £#%&! that go out and win the £#%&!ing thing

Confidence is rock bottom, a good run in this, maybe even winning it could be vital during the run in and realistically could be our only trophy.

£#%&!ing hell. How the £#%&! did we end up in this situation??:shakehead:

I remember when the Group draw was made. We all laughed & talked about how £#%&!ing boring it was & how we should just go straight to the knockout stage.

We were in a group with Benfica, Basel & FC Galati ffs:shakehead:

Fergie must be utterly ashamed of himself for making such a mess of that.

The EUROPA League???

A lot of the time he does not look like a footballer, his first touch last night after coming on was laughable. However he has a habit, mainly off the bench, of making an impact and getting on the end of chances. He could have scored in all his little cameo appearances recently but there is no denying he is a very frustrating and flawed player.

Thats why MJ. Regardless of what people think about our players not being good enough every game we've put out a side that should have won and was good enough to win.
This campaign has all been about attitude and ours has been £#%&!ing woeful right the way through the club, not just the players but the staff as well. We took these teams too lightly and thought we would breeze it
