Definitely looked like a ligament tear the way his knee bent, it wasn't dis-similar to when Owen's went at the Euro's/WC that time.

I don't recall that one. Early December was briefly mentioned at one point though.

Fergie did comment that he feels its related to medial ligaments (which puts you out for a couple of months) rather than cruciate ligaments (which puts you out for the season).

Hopefully is back for the massive europa league clash in feb

I think you mean medial rather than anterior.
