Yes, he was the manager and that is how it should work.

If he signs shit players, he alone gets judged on them.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-moreexciting/

An internal email has found its way into the hands of the telegraph in which Woody reveals the club is looking to sign exciting players who fit the long term vision of the club...

In other words Woodward has been briefing the press again

Hardest working man in football.

One thing is for sure: if we only end up with Longstaff, it won't be through lack of trying. Or lack of funds. Or lack of top players wanting to sign for the club.

It will be for other reasons.

£#%&!ing hell, this @#%&! writes his own performance reviews for the papers.

Fingers crossed the skies erupt again tonight and he's caught outside holding a 50ft brolly.

Incredible chief exec tbh. Imagine being tasked with getting United in flux, under a new manager, through a summer transfer window with a nett spend of £60m and doing it. Fair play.

Looking forward to his briefings about how we almost signed more players or how we’re not panicking () and are looking for a certain type of player

Also I wonder when the DoF briefings will start to circulate again?

Thumbs down

If Ole gets sacked then WooWar should be £#%&!ed off too. He's led a charmed life at United.

Same transfer strategy again. Buy one big player with a headline grabbing figure, subsidised by selling players.

But that isn't his fault. He's earning the club fortunes and working to a strict transfer budget.

Everything goes back to the owners.

I don't know why people cannot understand this. Wooders is doing 100% what the owners want.

1. sign club legend as manager to get fans back on our side
2.Get cheap young talent and reduce the wage bill
3. don't spend any of our money please
