Yes

When they lose possession they press to get the ball back immediately...if they don’t, they foul, usually in areas of the pitch that don’t attract a yellow card

Fernandinho is the worst culprit

Barca did it as well

I blame pep

And thatcher

The ref was quick in that match. On the spot immediately to give the red. Uriah Rennie wasn't it ?

To be fair, if that isn't a red card I don't know what is.

he could have got that ball if he gave it another step and a jump in. It would have been lauded as one of the great tackles of modern times

He got the ball in my book - never a foul.

Was his assistant.

He's a drug cheat who instructs his teams to revert to clogger on the rare occasions they're not in possession of the ball.

His Barca were the most tedious, anti football side I've ever seen. Lauded to high heaven for reaching the pinnacle of the beautiful game.

Our manager is correct in most of the things he says. That's one reason why most of our fans are willing to give him a chance.

Pep has flatly denied he has EVER sent a team out to commit tactical fouls.

'Did he say that, really??'

I take it you've not been watching Guardiola's teams for the last 10 years?

They've perfected it.

Busquets is still the undisputed master of committing 10 fouls a game and not getting booked. Fernandinho is currently trying to take his crown by clocking up god knows how many fouls every single game.

It's a cynical, calculated tactic to stop a competitive game of football breaking out.

That's why it sticks in the throat when Guardiola has the temerity to criticise any teams that "park the bus". Well Pep, maybe if you didn't instruct your team to pin them back and foul them the minute they get near the halfway line, teams might be able to push out against your stifling, suffocating, boring possession hogging football.

No worse than the old arsenal team, that @#%&! Gilberto silva used to make 8/10 fouls a game.
