The midfield doesn't have the legs to cover the forwards or the wing backs. The centre backs are ageing. It was foreseeable. Everything has to be exactly right in a Klopp approach. Conte doesn't hit the same highs, but arguably a more consistent manager season-over-season.

Its testament to Guardiola that even after all the years of basically playing the same way, teams still haven't really broken his system down consistently. The fact City's squad has noticeably slimmed down and they're still maintaining the pace of play is remarkable. Really thought they'd drop off just by having less bodies over the past 12-18 months but no, hasn't had material impact yet.
All that.

And the dog thing.

Apparently, Klopp isn’t the same these days. Players are convinced his head’s gone.

The reason?….

…. His dog died over the summer and he can’t get over it.
Same happened for Ken Dodd's dad.

#@&%!ly @#%&!.

Scouse siege mentality. They'll be writing poems about him soon and bleating on about what a beautiful humble man he is, too good for English football, etc, etc.

The only thing they can't do anymore is blame Fergie for everything but they'll probably try to anyway.

They're not £#%&!ed enough for me. They're not playing terribly, not getting embarrassed except by Napoli. It's just too damn soon to be writing those @#%&!s off. Their proper demise can't come fast enough.

Klopp says he wont miss the "rivalry" with Pep. It's hardly Ferguson v Wenger is it?

The media always referred to “United and Arsenal’s domination “.

We did. They didn’t.

It really didn't feel like it at the time. You could never relax, there was always a challenge. The £#%&!ing berts don't know what a challenge is. And won't until Geordie Arabia gets its shit together.

No more a rivalry than Utd v Chelsea during the Mourinho era. Completely forgettable.

Peak Utd v Arsrnal was just £#%&!ing brilliant. Away games at Highbury were the best the PL has seen imo.

cockney £#%&!ers

On paper its a rivalry but doesn't come with the essential extras Utd v Arsenal did.

Managers hated eachother, players hated eachother, fans hated eachother, media loved Arsenal, Fergie has finally met his match, North v South, all culminating in the Highbury tunnel and Viera finally being shown up for the gutless bully he always was in the face of a lunatic from Cork.

"Are you alright Patrick?"

Great days.

Great as that game was, Chelsea ran away with the league that year and we looked dead and buried by the end of it. Arse won the Cup, the chumps league... never happened, and then we had the £#%&!ing takeover.

Astounding we made it back so quickly actually, we were the only ones that could adapt to the rise of Chelsea. Verm deserve some credit loth as I am to admit it, and they haven't done anything we can't.

I know, mate. Just reinforcing Shenners point, that there’s always somebody trying to twist the narrative. We had some tousles with Arse but for couple of narrow lapses (ie WHU 1-1..) and we could had 6x titles running or more but the media loved to trot out how we both dominated.

Arse + dippers = media darlings. Always have been.

Doubt we’d get away with the asthmatics stuff like they have. Wedve been £#%&!in slaughtered in the media and of course, the FA would do their bidding
