I'd argue ole is the Head coach and not a manager at all, I suppose a lot of other clubs are the same. He certainly doesn't seem to be in charge of signing players.

So if he's not improving players or implementing a certain playstyle (which he isn't) then I'm not sure what he is doing other than picking the team and making baffling substitutions.

Carrick as a number 2 is baffling, he might be the world's greatest coach at Carrington but during every match he just sits there looking gormless.

His press conferences don't inspire much confidence either, he looks like he's about to burst into tears half the time. I'd love him to turn it around but I just don't see it.

Hes had 2 years, in the modern game that's a long time for a guy who is underachieving with not much sign of any potential improvement.

Nice. The one thing we do have is a solid board who rarely make mistakes or lie.

We're in safe hands here lads, no need to worry. The trouble comes when Madrid & Barca come tempting Ole away.

Tbf many managers don't survive more than one, so this isn't really a dig. Sort of

I'm suggesting nether players are good signings, especially given the money we had allocated for both positions.

If he cant motivate the players for City and Leeds then it should be the end in the new year. Go out the cup to Everton and Watford and it almost certainly will be.

Once we get going we can play but its clear what he is saying to them before the game just isn't getting them going. So many slow f***ing starts, do that Saturday and we are in big trouble.

Get that 12 year old in who manages Leipzig? He seemed to out think Ole on Tuesday night no problem

Is this team the unintentional representation of Ole the Utd player, I wonder. We always seem to fall behind before coming to life (with the help of one or two subs), just like all those times the baby-faced assassin used to come off the bench and net a crucial goal. Has he subconsciously moulded them in his own image? Or has he just turned them into an English Molde?

Ole outthought him the other week when we leathered them. Did the Turkish manager outthink him the other week? Maybe we should get him...

He’s outthought Pep a few times, Tuchel twice.

Add this to the player improvement myth!

We’re doing ok. We’re not there yet. Live with it.

This. There's been times under Ole when we've played with that classic United swagger we all love. Lots of great, young talent at the club and a few signings away (in and out) from genuine title challengers, at home and in Europe.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer retains a sizeable section of support from the Manchester United dressing room but some players believe he is the source of the team's problems.

The MEN understands a number of United players feel Solskjaer is to blame for their variable form this season and it has become an 'easy ride' playing for the club.

Solskjaer became the first manager to lose six of their first 10 games in the Champions League while in charge of an English side as United were ejected from the competition by RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

Despite reservations over the direction of the club, the majority of United players like Solskjaer and are backing him amid continued uncertainty over his future and the interest in Mauricio Pochettino.
