He had a bad season Tbf and when Henderson came in he seemed to do the basics well such as catching a ball wearing a baseball cap

Be interesting to see some comparisons, especially taking out shoot outs. Do keeers save that many penalties?

Also, let’s assume we just talk about his “in game” time at United and guess without shootouts he’s probably had 20 against him in ten years. The fact that he might not have saved two penalties a season doesn’t seem that bad?

His stats are awful when it comes to spot-kicks. Compare to someone like Donnarumma, who has a ridiculous 38% penalty-kick save percentage, and it puts things into context:

Donnarumma has been involved in five official penalty shootouts since making his debut as a 16-year-old and incredibly he has won every shootout.

In normal play Donnarumma has faced 44 penalties during his career. He has saved (not including misses) 15 of them, while only 29 have been scored.

This means that Donnarumma is saving over a third of penalties taken against him. This is almost double the average, according to InStat, of penalties saved by goalkeepers which stands at 17.57%.

Despite only making his senior debut in 2016, Donnarumma is already in the top 10 for goalkeepers with the most penalty saves in the 21st century.

looking at the first link believe posted, seems dave is the best when matched against recent united legends. against his contemporaries he's better than ederson, you can't count alisson as he's only faced less than half of ddg. not sure i trust those stats tho... schmeichel (leicester) faced 93 pens? that's what playing behind huth and morgan does for you I guess.
