Thought he played well

Got into great positions on more than one occasion and got a goal

His first start of the season so no surprise he looked a little rusty in front of goal.

Threat all night, obvs rusty, always a worry on a 1v1 tbf.

The vision on Bruno for that pass

Bruno was horrific all night, 2 assists and should’ve scored and made 2 or 3 other decent chances. If he’d just calm the £#%&! down we’d have scored about 8.

Tbf to Bruno, he should've had about 6 assists. The fact that he didn't was definitely not his fault.

2 in 2 for our rashers, after being out for so long and so presumably not even quite fully up to speed in these two games.

played through an injury for so much of last season, yet people assumed he'd just grown lazy, or stopped focusing on his football.

if this talented young man responds to the post-euros backlash the way beckham did after the 1998 wc, or ronaldo did post-winkgate, he could be in for his best season yet

He's always been Key in making us tick. His movement is seriously impressive, especially where we're looking to unlock teams within 2 or 3 passes

Really don’t like his his new hair do. Wish one of the reporters would have the balls to tackle him about it.

He's fantastic at those right foot finishes, when he cuts in from the left and ticks it in the corner. Nearly always buries them. Great to have him back.

Wonder which member of his PR team came up with this? Emotional stuff.

At this stage it’s going against the very thing they set out to do. Why make the comment? To keep his name circling Twitter and to give his profile active. £#%&! off. Just stay quiet about it and move onto the next game. I used to stuff like this go but it’s getting to the point where it’s beginning make us look like a joke ( even more so) as a club.

It’s all “ look at me , make sure my media profile stays active , can’t go a day without making sure media pick up on my Twitter” £#%&! off Marcus, even if it is his PR team he employed them.

I loved the three or four players who posted selfie videos thanking the fans for the support and apologising post match Sunday...

Cringe-worthy, forced shite.

Does nobody in these professional PR teams realise it’s probably bad PR for them at this point
