Huge asterisk on that 2nd place finish for Ole. Spurs were not backing Mourinho, Chelsea were ravaged with Lampard, Liverpool beset by injuries etc etc

Even then we were quite shit, let Liverpool put 4 past us at OT. Spurs putting 6 past us at OT. Won loads of games luckily coming from behind, loads of penalties. It was not a solid foundation to build on and deep down you know that. They gave him Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo and we got WORSE.

Keep in mind he almost bottled top 4 under lockdown aswell.

He was never the answer.

Mourinho finished 2nd up against possibly the best Pep city side hes had, we had won 3 cups the season before and lost the fa cup final to a hazard penalty. What do we do? We give Mourinho £#%&!ing Fred, 3rd choice keeper Grant and teenager Dalot.

Let’s be honest, a huge part of finishing third and then 2nd was due to playing in front of empty stadiums

No £#%&!ing way would those players have come from behind all those times with full stadiums
No chance

Spot on, hence why we look ok in pre-season i.e. when it doesn't matter and there is no real pressure.

Definitely a massive issue with the character in the squad going back to Mou’s era. Most if not all should’ve been phased out and replaced, it’s a failing of the club that so many remain.
I think the last game was Europa League away, Ighalo scored a thronker, but City was our last game in England before covid lockdown.

He'd be good at coaching multiple choice exams.
