Can only be a matter of time until he becomes a Glazer signing. Shame we didn’t get him 5-6 years ago beicse on his day he’s one of the best footballers I’ve seen play for us.

In the sense that we were bargain basement shopping he probably was, done a fantastic job and a shrewd bit of business.

He massively improved us when he arrived but has looked like a weak link since his latest injury return. Looks worn out.

seems a bit harsh when he has missed half the season thanks to a thug, is old, was already reanimated and has played pretty well for the most part to judge him by a cup game against the best team in the world that passed him by. still has a role at united. especially til we get some better players.
