Doubly so as his knee injury has ruled him out for the season I think. Should have stayed at Soton and played every week or gone elsewhere again.

Shame this will end up being his one chance of a top job, unless England eye him up eventually
At one point I felt he was nailed on for Spurs tbh. Either him or Pochettino going back once Conte has his full on meltdown and leaves. Think he’d have probably done well there - it’s a bigger job where he’d be given more time, without having any real expectations of winning anything. Definitely shot himself in the foot going to Chelsea, though I’m sure the money softens the blow.

No way Potter finishes the season as Chelsea manager
There were lots of Chelsea fans pointing this out the day after the transfer window closed on Talkshite. "Whilst the players we are buying are very good what we really need is a centre forward" I can see a nil nil here.

I look forward to the concerted media campaign about Mudryk being a waste of money after getting the hook at HT..

Gallagher and Mount is an absolute McFred of a midfield. Fernandez looks a class act but you can’t do it all in the position he plays, it does require others to create and put the ball in the net.

This game shows why Mitrovic is at Fulham, he’s really not great outside the penalty area at all.

Palinha has been superb.

Palinha is great, how much did he cost them?

£20m apparently

Everton binning Marco Silva looks mental in hindsight.

Cheeky effort Mitro.

Chelsea really need Kante back to free this lad Fernandez up, he looks like a class above.

They’re utterly deluded, pal. Loads of them are livid because they’ve got Dyche. They genuinely think they’re better than that. That someone like him is beneath them.. Guys, you’re going to get £#%&!ing relegated. Wake up!

Best manager they’ve had in recent years was Allardyce and they hated him for the same reason.

I can see a quintessential scabby Chelsea 1-0 win here. Probably Sterling bundling one in

Fulham have spurned several good chances to break and they’ll regret them.

I’d be shocked if they don’t re-sign him unless his injuries have really caught up with him. You can’t put as much effort in he has for years and not have it catch up.

Top defending that tbf, dodgy keeping
