Still remember the media back in 2004. Every day full of headlines of how great Arsenal were and how they invented attacking football, casting pearls before us swine...etc etc.... huge pieces in the papers eulogizing about how wonderful Arsene was teaching all the cave men managers like Ferguson about the beautiful game.

It really was nauseating shite being churned out by the media which is infested with middle class luvvie gooners.

It led to a generation of Arsenal fans who honestly believe they have "a way of doing things" and feel entitled to wonderful football as if the club had no history before 2002, as if George Graham didn't exist and as if we've forgotten how they 1-0'd their way to a double in 1998 off the back of the defence george graham built.

The move to the Emirates started it off. They sold their fans a dream knowing full well the move was going to cripple them in the short term.

Wenger letting go off the senior players and breaking up the "invincibles" so soon accelerated it. No leaders in the transition period where they were full of youngsters in the first team. Whereas we had Fergie who always kept a lineage to pass on the baton.

Man City winning the lottery pushed them even further back too.

Spurs starting to see the fruition of an organic business model coming good on the pitch and being in and around the top four added another problem.

The youth project failed when Fabregas, Nasri, RvP £#%&!ed off - the three men he built the idea around. Others like Clichy, Flamini, Hleb and Song leaving for brighter lights didn't help.

The fact he has kept them in the top four is in some way a brilliant achievement but that will come to an end this season.

Didn't they lose more games in 03/04 than we did in 98/99 across all comps?

You can sort of understand teenagers talking like that but £#%&!ing hell a grown man talking like a character from "kidulthood".

I can't imagine he has any sort of job where you have to interact with anyone in a professional capacity.

"Yo, we have to maximise profit margins, blud! Ya get me fam! Nah bare profits blud, send me an e-mail fam!"

I've known a fair few people around my old area who used to talk like that and to a man they were all massive £#%&!ing losers and social misfits.

Wenger's doing the right thing.

There's no point in signing more average players, they wont improve them at all. We fell into the trap of doing that for years, signing players who were only marginally better than what we had. It doesn't make a big enough difference and you get stuck with a load of crap that you can't shift on.

If you want to make a difference you need to sign big players. They were able to do that with Ozil and Sanchez, they now need to find a world class centre back and striker. There's no point in them taking a risk on a player that probably wont make it.

The problem is that there aren't many out there. Surprised they don't chuck a fortune at Atletico for Godin. Cavani has also come across as gettable for a year or so.

Crystal Palace are dropping £32m on Liverpool flops. If Wenger is sitting around waiting for 'world class' players to become available for 30-40m then he's going to be waiting a £#%&!ing long time. Those days are long gone. We've paid £30m for a young up and coming centre back and had to fork over a world record for a top class midfielder. Arsenal are so obsessed with not getting their pants pulled down over transfer fees they're in danger of become wall flowers standing around whilst everyone else is taking part.
