Yep. He is sprinting from the moment the ball is cleared. Most players would have been ten yards back.

It’s a horrendous error and gift, of course, but he was there to take advantage and was in total control the moment he got it.

Sancho did extremely well to smother it. A touch even that bad isn’t usually punished there when the attackers starting position is that deep. Reminded me a little of Nani in the charity shield v Kompany.

Two good goals for him this week and suddenly everything is looking up for him

Sancho and Greenwood are the future, the rest of our forwards either are, or will be soon, ready for the bin.

Yep.

But did anybody else wonder why the £#%&! Rashford didn’t stay behind him?

Edit: just seen it mentioned in the Rashford thread, which makes sense

Showing signs. Great ball to Fred for the pen.

Hopefully Rangers will have him firing again.

Been getting more lively by the game for the past 4 or 5. Going to be in contention for our POTY after a stonking second half of the season.

He seems to actively want our players to struggle and fail. Writes them off after a couple of games, despite knowing full well the team is in turmoil and that the tabloids love to spout bullshit. Also has this weird need/desire to always be acknowledged. An odd person, nqat

Spot on, does it with loads of players, but I'm also sure he knows why he was missing the other night and to to kick a young red when he's down at a family funeral in a public forum ....?

A new low for even him...

Dont 'actively' want players to fail. Can tell when a player is shit and overrated and been proven right thus far with Sancho...

How does bunks taste btw, pal?

never wanted him two seasons ago - didn't get the fuss - but this time around it felt right (until it didn't feel right). Think he'll still do well. Noting Waffle's opinion and taking the opposite position normally works on most things.
