also interesting is how, now that we actually look to be getting our act together, that pity-sympathy thing thrown our way in recent years has been replaced by that old, all too familiar, bitterness.

We’re coming back

70 million euro this summer and then 30 million euro next summer with 20 million euro the following summer
I think that's a fair deal as we won't take such a financial hit on the transfer this summer

I really don't get how clubs negotiate transfers
Why can't they act like adults and have a meeting between each other to trash out a deal
Working with agents and briefings to the press is just juvenile stuff

obviously the minute he gets linked with any other club, he'll be world class again.
That was exactly how Griezmann went down wasn’t it

This talk of United coughing up 70 million up front just isn't going to happen. Do people honestly think that we're going to splurge hundreds of millions of pounds this summer with the game in the grip of a pandemic?

People need to get realistic about what we're dealing with. Arsenal have just had to make 55 employees redundant because of the financial fallout of the pandemic.

Either Dortmund need to stop living in £#%&!ing la-la land and come to the table and talk sensibly if they want to make a deal or He's got 2 years left on his contract, so they'll be lucky to get half what they're asking for next summer.

Dortmund... "We expect Sancho to be at pre-season training on Monday and at the club next season."

Napoli just spent 80 million euro on Osimhen from Lille (a player I’d never heard of before)
You’re not getting a COVID-19 discount
Dortmund don’t need to sell and will get plenty next summer even with a year left on his contract

The prices aren’t going to change at the top end of the football market just like a Ferrari isn’t going to go down in price just because there is a global pandemic

i'll bet they didn't fork it all out in one go though did they?

United won't pay 70 million up front, simple as that.

yet all that said and City get Torres for 23m without Valencia really trying to extort them like what's happening with Sancho

Don't believe any numbers that City publish about anything. They've probably paid 23m directly and another £#%&!ing 30 via some dummy corporation.

70 million euro (60 million pounds)

If you can’t afford to fork out putting that much up front then you may as well forget any big signings this summer

Ole’s comments during lockdown indicate the club thought they could as Ole said it “exploit” the situation but they’re finding out that’s not the case

Clubs like Dortmund are financially fine and don’t need to sell

Something has clearly broken down for us to brief all the press last night and Dortmund to put the above out.

Remember we're willing to ruin a players preseason over a few mil and then just pay it anyway.

Absolutely spot. That city player from Spain. Was valued about 4 weeks ago at 87 million. Covid discount 64 million

They won't be financially "fine" for very long.

It'll get done. Just a matter of how badly we get it done. Again.

Refused a new contract and fell out with the club did Torres. Been slating each other in the press apparently, no doubt that helped.

Sancho has been at training with Dortmund this week
