Precisely. If anyone thinks they're going sit there whilst Liverpool disappear over the horizon, they're deluded. They'll go all out in the summer and next season will be a much different scenario.

Apparently, Bruno and his agent Miguel Pinho are entitled to a payment of €5m should the Lisbon club receive a formal offer equal to or greater than the exact figure the United have proposed paying as a guaranteed transfer fee for the midfielder. The compensation must be paid regardless of whether Sporting ultimately agree to sell for the €50m offer.
