Being an OOT (and in Oireland in particular) there's way more vermin @#%&!s here than citeh, so the vermin are TEH ENEMY more than citeh. Feels more like a derby when you're playing them.

Leeds of course are odious scum, but we've not played them much lately (just SHUT UP about the last time).

Can't stand Arsenal or Chelsea fans, they're even more plastic than ours but we still get all the prawn-sandwich abuse. Chelsea were singing "where were you when you were shit" at citeh on Saturday. Zero self-awareness.

Also I really hate West 'am for some reason.

You're missing the point. It's not a case of not considering then rivals, I just don't hate them.

Try looking at this this way, if we don't win the major honours (and obviously someone has to win them) - then I want Arsenal & Chelsea to win them.

I don't want City and Liverpool winning anything.

Chelsea and to a lesser extent Arsenal are our RIVALS

Citeh, the vermin and Dirty Leeds are our ENEMIES

I hate Arsenal, ever since the 79 final. Hated the Adams, Merson, Wright era and can't stand Wenger and their #@&%!head fans.

We've paid them back for 79, they've won a few battles but we've gutted them many times since.

On a serious note, the idea of City winning anything is depressing.

Leeds for me is just pure hate. There's so much I dislike about the scummy club.

Liverpool it's the history.

Also hate West Ham.

They were our title rivals. Therefore they were rivals.

Chelsea and to a much lesser extent Arsenal are our rivals atm because they pose a threat to any competition we hope to win this season. Take away their manager/best players and they cease to be on our radar.

City have been shite for >30 years and have always been hated. Liverpoo and Lids have been shite for 20 years and the same.

city take precedent, and the closer they get to being on our radar the clearer it becomes. In fact I'm happy they're doing 'well' because it refocuses a deep seated hatred. Utter #@&%! fans. Self righteous and small minded. It's purely football related.

Vermin and Leeds are both just horrible @#%&!s, and it goes outside of football and into some misplaced sense of civic pride. Jealous, they are.

Chelsea is down to the hooligan element in the 80's, like with west ham, and the nouveau riche angle. Arsenal is down to the new football fan thing (all that nick hornby bollox) the wenger era with all those horrible players. AND a 70's loss in the FA cup, which I barely remember, but it hurt.

Villa do have some history though, which makes them marginally less pitiable than the likes of Boro or Blackburn.
