Can’t blame him tbh.

United would be wise to do a deal for Jan/next summer now. So they won’t.

Why is it a risk? If he doesn’t back himself to start in our defence then he’s better off staying there.

Fair chance he’ll be shoehorned in at RB, wants to play CB as that’s where he plays for the National team and Ajax, has seen what has happened to Donny with a change of leagues, and Sancho and Rashford. Wise imo. United is a £#%&!ing basket case. Avoid until there are signs of calm progression.

Sad but true. Which player has come to United in the past 5 years and come out with a better profile a couple of years down the line? Even Ronaldo was being called a 'problem' for half this season ffs.

Sad fact is that players will probably be a bit wary about coming into this team a the moment, especially with the World Cup imminent.

The sooner we start focussing on 2nd tier players who are young and keen the better off we’ll be.

We aren’t an attractive club to top level players…unless they are looking for a payday and we’ve seen how that shows through with their attitude.

Timber is young and second tier. Cant even get him interested, despite his ex manager being in charge.

Might need to aim even lower

We don’t need another plank in defence anyway.

if he's not confident in his ability to force maguire or Lindelof out the £#%&!ing team then maybe he should stay there

Buy him and loan him back for the season?

If he’s as good as they say he’ll cost double next summer and a few more clubs will be on for him

Exactly, he’s Ten Hag’s first choice ffs. Obviously has no confidence in his ability. £#%&! him

Yeah was thinking that too. Or at least until after the world cup.
