Default Ivan Toney on Diary of a CEO

Just scanning through this. I would've loved him at United but I think he's going to stay at Brentford because they've supported him so well.

He would've been perfect for us.

Didn't do match fixing just bet on himself to score.

Backs himself to score - literally.

That's what we've been missing.

The bookies will be making record profits if our lot backed themselves to score

he said he backed himself to score first, but... in any case... you can see how backing yourself to score might make you a bit selfish in certain circumstances in which you might pass to a teammate in a better position. so... the bet would affect the way you play. it's not just having confidence in your own ability.

although, tbh, the having confidence in his own ability bit is the bit that makes me raise an eyebrow.

I have a daughter. Without that I may be ambivalent but having a daughter means I understand now that killing is wrong.
