they were going to give it to him but the time it would take him to walk from the back of the room to the stage wasn't worth it.

So, what's going on today then? No new faces and Cleverley is going out on loan?

Fergie suggested no big name signings/big expenditure because it was time to give youth a chance - excited about the potential there - or something similar. So what is he going to do? Loan out the, or one of the, brightest prospects to Wigan or Bolton. FFS.

I'm surprised you're angry, it was pretty obvious it was just an excuse to hide behind. The clubs only ambition these days is paying debt.

The lies don't make me angry, they're so commonplace these days I suspect he doesn't know what the truth actually is.

I feel sad for Cleverley. Wigan or Bolton, what a grim choice.

Yea. I had high hopes but if Fergie thinks he's not good enough (yet ) to push out the likes of Carrick, Anderson or Gibson, then there's not much reason to keep him around.

For all the talk of relying on our 'great' youngsters, time and again it's Scholes, Giggs, Neville and even £#%&!ing Owen we turn too. I don't blame the manager, it's simply the reality of not having a pot to piss in.

Let's face it, the gimps have probably told SAF to loan Cleverley, so they can save a few more pennies

Yup, I am sure Wigan will be absolutely fabulous for him

bolton would have been a decent loan for him under coil. they seem to actually want to play decent football. i wouldn't be surprised if they finish in the top six this season.

Disappointing. No new signing, and loaning out a promising young player.
Im surprised he did'nt mention it during his press confrence this morning, as I thought it would have been bought up at some point.

Re Possebon.

What's going on there then?

Not a mention of the deal on the official site. Nothing on Sky transfer website.

Most odd.
