Football FC Utd v Matlock Sunday (at Stalybridge) / 'Non-league day'

FC are playing Matlock Town on Sunday at Stalybridge, k.o. 3pm.
(Bower Fold, Mottram Rd, Stalybridge, SK15 2RT)

We had a great start to the season with three wins and already look much more flowing and confident than last season, especially during the 5-1 drubbing of Retford. Things slightly came off the rails a bit with a 1-0 defeat at Ashton on Monday, but we're still in 3rd place.

It's also worth mentioning 'Non-league day' (http://www.nonleagueday.co.uk), which takes place this weekend. With no Premiership fixtures, people are basically promoting local non-league teams.

Yes, moved to Sunday because of that and Bury didn't want two matches in two days played on their pitch.

Goals from 5-1 win against Retford, the last 3 in particular are £#%&!ing ace

Just seen that, ha ha

I think we will - despite the 1-0 loss at Ashton we've looked great so far, really confident.

Matlock are a decent side though.

I'm gonna become bitterly anti-FC if they don't win.

Love that new kit, like a home version of the 78 away kit.

BTW Think the Retford keeper needs to work on his kicking and positioning.

If you look at the 3rd goal, their player in the background is sarcastically applauding his keeper.

My great Uncle played for Matlock town. We'd be in trouble if he was still playing I can tell you! Man mountain he was, he was once invited for trails at Glasgow but he didn't bother as he didn't like Scotland. True story.

I think they are favorites.

You're worried about your vcash but betting all of it becomes a drug. I accidentally put a million on Real in a game they were suppose to walk and they only scored a winner in the 89th minute. The thrill of 300k made so suddenly made me bet more rashly and from being a vmulti-millionare I now stand before the forum a vpauper.

Even if FC do win you'll be hooked and the your vcash will be gone I'm afraid bedders.

I think you should finally get to that game you keep promising to take in.

I'll keep an eye out for or at full time.
