It’s straight up media balls /trying to keep the idea “we may not sell” up so they can get the most for their buck

I can’t see how anyone who could afford us would any less than complete control.

They’re going to make around 4-5bn out of us and they still won’t £#%&! off easily.

Horrible creatures.

As others have said it seems more like a PR operation to give the impression they are in no hurry to sell unless a huge offer comes in.

From what I’ve read the likely figure is apparently £4bn to £4.5bn…if I was the Glazer’s I’d be running while I could knowing fans will very quickly forget about the last 20 years once the money taps are turned on by the new owners.

The alternative is sticking around and facing ever more rage and hassle. They may not particularly care about that but balanced against the money I know what I’d be doing.

Make 4-5 billion , didn’t spend a single penny of their own money to buy, took out around 1billion.

They’ve literally gained 5-billion without spending a single penny of their own money

Madness when you think about it. They essentially got a massive mortgage because they were rich and took it out the club. Everytime I think about it it gets crazier .

Life must be easy when you’re millionaires being allowed to leverage takeovers

It would need to be a leveraged takeover to be perfect, and i think they're illegal now?

They could still appoint Woodward as CEO and mismanage the £#%&! out of them, but FSG seem to be doing a decent job of that anyway atm.
