Scoring record isn't anything to write home about...

Tends to be quite important for a striker so i'm hearing. We've already got players who can manage 8 goals in 30 games tbf

You would think so. Obviously not seen as important at the club.

Let's hope he is a 'pressing monster' and tries hard.

Not many teenage/20 year old strikers are scoring loads of goals tbh, beyond Mbappe and Haaland.

But sure, let’s wait until he’s a 30 goal a year type guy, that makes sound business sense.

Or just sign, you know, a proven goalscorer like Harry Kane or Osimhen.

Because it’s just that simple

Plus, we need 2 strikers anyway.

Osimhen cost a bundle from a French team, we opted not to get him at the time as he was too expensive.

Sure other clubs have signed 30 goal a season strikers, pal.

Sorry, I'm being facetious.

Let's just throw £100m at them. Qatar money....$$$

Point one out pal, one that could be signed with any degree of ease..

There’s a dearth. Most of the top clubs have strikers well into their 30’s, players in their pomp rattling in 30 goals a season at an age to justify the required outlay are like bastard rocking horse shit.

We’ve not got Qatar money. Even if Qatar buy us we don’t have ‘Qatar money’ to spend on players.

We need to buy young and develop to some degree.

Sorry. I'm still reeling from the last "top young striker prospect" we spent 50 million on 8 years ago.

What about the last 30 goal a season striker in his pomp we signed?

May as well just never buy a player again tbh.

No, no, let's not do that.

Instead, let's sign some really good players like we did last summer.

Never watched this lad play once but I love signings like this rather than something really obvious and predictable like signing Kane

No idea if he’d turn out to be a good signing but signing young, raw and extremely talented players and then developing them into top players is very Utd

I don’t see Levy selling Kane to us
It would need Kane to go on strike and kick up an almighty fuss and I don’t think he’s capable of that
