He really hasn’t. His attacking capabilities are a myth and AWB is the better defender.

Still maybe as a player that can play both Rb and LB he’s probably worth keeping as squad depth.

Agree to disagree on that one. Last year at Brighton was one of the worst individual performances of last season. There was no more pressing issue than right back (apart from midfield) this time last year. AWb and him and improved to the point where it’s no as pressing an issue as it was. Neither are the long-term answer. Both are worth having around (not on daft deals) as we prioritise other areas.

Hope it’s a genuine attempt to get a higher fee for him. He’s toss.

We've come a long way from Rashford, Maguire et al starting every game irrespective of form or fitness. Seems like a horrible nightmare now.

I can guarantee you that dalot will play in the cup final.

Can’t say I’m over the moon with this one but I’m going to assume ETH is going to bin off AWB, sign a proper right back, and make Dalot the back-up.

He was only on £25k per week before the new deal. Won't be a huge increase, decent value considering AWB's on £90k pw.

He's really good type of player to keep, a solid defender that can be counted in to be fit and do a job when needed.....

He's actually had some great games for us when AWB took a turn, you can't fill your squad with Tony martials and go deep in competitions..

Probably a better left back than Malacia tbf.
