Default United V Saints - Pre Match Build Up

This has turned into a huge game.

Big week coming up but see little point in resting players tonight, especially now.

Has to go with the same team then see where we are at come Thursday.

Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Bruno and Pogba must be capable of 3 games in a week, which is what we will need out of them - if not for the full 90 minutes.

Chelsea have Norwich tomorrow (10-0) with Leicester playing Sheffield United on Wednesday

Big week!

Do we play Palace Thursday then? And Chelsea Sunday? Damn, that’s tight.

Get a goal or 2 up and get the big guns off today and Thursday

This.

Get the job done in both games then take players off. Especially with the luxury of 5 subs.

He’ll play his best team in the next 2 league fixtures and then rotate for the cup semi

The league is miles more important
Don’t have the safety net of 5th now so can’t let up in the league
No chances can be taken

Any helicopter shots of the coaches on their way to the stadium?

Feels like our biggest game since Stockholm. Maybe I’m off my hinges.

Think everyone is holding their breath a bit because whenever we’ve had an opening in recent times we’ve not taken advantage. This feels like the perfect time to get that out of our system and could be a real turning point. Tense as but for the first time in years I’m hopeful we can do this

It's going to be interesting to see how we perform in this sort of game. Mid-table club at home, but with a lot riding on it after results have gone our way.

Sort of game that we've looked nervous in and ended up bottling in the past. Hope we come out guns blazing with a desire to gobble up that 3rd place spot.

4-0 romp

I read earlier today (not sure on accuracy) that any time we’ve followed Chelsea and a points drop we’ve failed to win every time.

Yep. If we win these two massive pressure on Chelsea to focus on the league rather than the cup.

Also, Southampton have had a couple of big wins lately so they can afford to lose one. If we score early we'll be fine.

Haven't been this excited about watching Utd play in absolutely years. Not worried about them scoring first. Get the ball up top and we'll be reet. Thanks
