I think we can agree then that things are said in the context of the time they are said that shouldn’t be read too literally.

Fair point. Am amazed that more’s not come of their investment in the academy.

There was a wider point about the direction of the respective clubs, the structure that was being put in place and the investment each club was making that you look like you might have missed though?

Didn't make one. If I did, five years ago, it would have been that it wasn't producing anything as it wasn't so, in hindsight, I'm spot on.

Pal, I made that post. Pure is calling me out for a post I made years ago -for reason which are unclear.

Not sure what it’s go to do with Ole’s position but.....

Was it the post directly after that one where I said “I’ll never call for his head” or couldn’t you find that one?

Shockingly dishonest mate....Happy New Year.

An apology will suffice I think Koppas old bean.

I wouldn’t want to wade in after the severe kicking you just got from MNIK; that would just be excessively cruel, and I don’t abuse dumb animals.

This after you just readily admitted to two complete 180 degree shifts in a matter of weeks.. AND deliberately mis-interpreting my post.

If I tried to explain this place to an outsider they wouldn’t believe me.

Will Ole take any of the blame if we go through the whole of January without signing anyone? Or do we point the finger firmly at the owners.

Going to be tough to stick up for him when there are Championship players that would improve our squad we could have in by tea time tonight.

Suppose if we go out the FA Cup that relieves some of the pressure

Lets wait and see.

If we don't sign anyone it's clearly not down to him but the big question is what does he do or say about it. If he follows the party line he'll lose a lot of respect but what's the alternative - resign?

That's what makes this place so great.

If I done two 180s my position hasn't changed then.

Ole needs to resign tonight?

Has the transfer window shut early then?

It's true, that Benrahma at Brentford looks like an unbelievable talent, can only imagine him in the forward line instead of Lingard. Would only cost about £20m as well.

Ole's dealing with some huge constraints, but the club needs to offer up solutions in the price range & availability in the meantime to pad out the squad. On top of that, we'll need a few world class players to elevate ourselves, you just don't tend to get those in January - doesn't mean some smart business couldn't be done though.
