Getting some new running shoes. Always wore Asics then tried cheaper options a few years ago. Cheaper Adidas and New Balance. They didn't do it for me. So back go Asics. I hear great things about the Adidas UltraBoost but the Adidas runners I had a couple of years ago felt small in my size. Are the ultraboost the same? Either them or the Nike similar ones will do.

Like the look of Hoka too.

I was recommended to get a size up in the ultra boost, I only went half a size though because I like them snug

I've got AlphaBoost and they're brilliant. The grip on them is excellent.

They fit true to size for me ( 13 n half )

these are superb - used them for the last two ironman tris i've done (where i've been on my feet for a good few hours) my legs felt relatively good afterwards, which is saying something - very cushioned and supportive. recommended especially if you're doing a good few runs a week. maybe not great if you're doing shorter runs/park runs etc. as they are quite heavy.

stear clear of adidas - i've never ran in a pair i've liked.

nike pegasus are good.
