Got to be some truth in that, and it certainly doesn't help that several of our players aren't the brightest tools in the box.

Why? The only contact is when the Liverpool player stands on him.

Don't get the beef about taking Mainoo and Garnacho off..they both work incredibly hard and are key to us winning anything. The last thing we need is for them to get injured. They need protecting. Keeping Casimero on was an odd one.

VAR yet again proving it has no role in the game.

We won't make significant progress until we have 2 proper full backs and a centre half who doesnt have the turning circle of a super tanker.

Like Keano said "only Bruno scores that goal".

True.

indeed. hence why it was my answer. I suspect his comment was less that it wasn't a penalty and more that he couldn't believe we'd given it away, though. no jumping round the room on a camel for this one.

Overall happy with both the point and the performance. I didn't think the stats told the whole story of the first half, we were aggressive and cutting through them even without getting shots off, their goal knocked us off our stride which is progress from us knocking ourselves off.

We don't look well coached and the tactics don't seem obvious but we managed today to do what the great Roy Evans, Houllier, Benitez and Dalglish (second spell) teams did which was stay in the game and make things difficult. I don't know why we can't do thise more often, especially in lieu of any other plan.

No idea why we were out on our feet on 70 mins mind, not only could we not clear simple balls from our box but players were struggling to run, genuinely bizarre. It was a blatant pen and Rashford had one of his better games so no surprise he took him off. Now hopefully we can lose every remaining league game and scab the FA Cup.

true dat. the most dangerous moments were the offside and cass's head across goal. most of liverpool's shots were a bit lame (although onana made one excellent save). szoboszlai's side-foot was fredesque and diaz was all over the place except for his lucky goal.

I disagree. I thought he was far better in terms of workrate.

We’ve got nothing to play for other than Coventry in the semi final.

He did the same against Chelsea and didn’t learn.

He was. Although, if he can’t be up for the game at home to them, he might as well knock the game on the head.

If there’s one thing ETH glaringly fails at in training it’s
Teaching the thick @#%&!s the English for ‘TIME’ ….. he should
write it down on a piece of paper for Maguire

The amount of head tennis duals and stupid flicks undertaken is
baffling when a simple chest and lay off is so £#%&!ing obvious

Rashford turned up again seeing it’s a cant hide match. He’ll down tools
again now.

The younger lads are playing for him. Let’s get the new faces in for the mince brigade and some more youngsters through

Disappointed especially for Mainoo to not get the win but the main thing was not lose the game and put the title in Arsenal’s hands
We’ve done all we can

The first half performance was an absolute disgrace
2nd half obviously better but we still need a couple of wonder goals to score because the quality of our football is so bad we create virtually nothing

Structurally we’re a complete shambles which is why we allow nearly 30 shots every game
Recently defensive players have made big mistakes late on to cost us wins but that comes from being under constant pressure so at some stage they’re bound to £#%&! up
