Love Cavani, tbh. PSG was a terrible choice for him but he's still done better than a goal every other game, despite being shunted about.

10 goals in 18 in the Champions League, too.

56 goals in 65 games for PSG and playing out wide like you said is seriously £#%&!ing good

His record is superb at PSG considering he plays out wide so much for Ibra.

Something about him that doesn't convince me though, far too many international tournaments where you expect him to be the man and he doesn't do it.

Then he goes and bosses Chelsea in the CL like he did last season, he's a weird player just not sure he's consistent enough for United.

Could also include Ronnie in that aswell, but the club form lets them get away with it I guess.

Cavani though whilst his record is superb, just doesn't convince me he'll be able to do it in a much tougher league.

Scoring 30 goals or over in 4 out of 5 seasons (And 25 in the other) is fairly consistent.

He'd be well suited to the premier league with the attributes he has.

On the basis we aren't getting Lewandowski or Muller, there aren't a great deal of alternatives.

Can't help but think that Ed's been resting on his laurels somewhat since the glory days of Basto/Schnido/that Italian whose name I can't remember
