I've done another 180 on him. Or I suppose it's two 90's. I was completely wrong in how much I thought he would contribute this season, and now I'm glad he's staying on when I previously said we shouldn't give him another year.

Ole said that he's fully fit now, and I suppose that could be the difference from when we was blowing hot and cold for the first few months compared to the complete beast he has been for the last month or so.

Can't wait for him to score at the Stretford end with a full house in attendance

Depends now, I think I'd rather see a proper right winger. More than happy to let Greenwood work his way into the central position, and if we're spending money on the front line then the right wing position is one that sorely needs addressing after being neglected for so long. It showed last night. Take out Greenwood, a 19 year old centre forward doing a job there, and we're £#%&!ed.

Then again maybe Amad will be ready to start games next season, in which case we could look at getting a proper midfielder first and foremost.

Fantastic news.

Anyone who doesn't want him to stay should be banned from watching football and preferably flogged.

He's 34!!! And? He's easily in good enough shape to play another season. Turns up in big games, big presence, mentors the young kids, and offers something up front none of the others do.

By the time Cavani is done here Greenwood could be a 200m CF.

Don’t tell the glazers they’ll get rid of him the first chance they can.

This.

He's grown on me a lot. The miss at Arsenal and gifting the dippers an equaliser in the cup the only real grumbles I've had with his on pitch efforts. If he'd have signed earlier, been up to speed earlier and managed to stay injury free we'd be right on City's tail imo.

Hopefully true, means we can bin Martial off and bring another striker in now

He does miss a lot, but so do most strikers that get into those areas. His link up play is much better than I thought. Didn’t think he had passes like last night in him.

Watched the highlights from last night before.

I didn't realise how good his ball was to Greenwood.

Should have signed him 10 years ago.

This, the worry is of course that the suits will use his staying as an excuse not to get one.
